Notes:
JEMS master recording and excellent sounding recording. There are a couple of firsts here with this being the first time JEMS ever taped R.E.M. and this transfer done in July 2009 being the first time this recording has ever been circulated directly from the master tape with no dat or cdr generations involved. This show captures R.E.M. touring in support of their major label debut Murmur and the second time they ever played in Detroit. The band is in fine form and spirits at this show joking around to the Detroit audience between songs introducing themselves as the MC5, The Stoogies and The Silver Bullet Band.
